Birthday party

We all went to Charitys house this weekend for Macys 5th birthday party. The boys tried to swim but the water was too cold. So they opted for jumping on the trampoline instead. Every year just seems to just fly by us in a flash. Where has the time gone to? The weeks are still hot and steamy as always and we are waiting for a break in this weather. As you can see the boys were shirtless and sweaty. Christmas is right around the corner. Hope to post something more adventerous for you all to read, but for now this is it. Keep safe and warm up there. You sure can have this humidity for all I care. But you have to admit that those sunsets are breathless....

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year we spent Thanksgiving with some friends while daddy was at the fire station with the guys. The kids made pilgrim and Indian costumes out of paper bags and of course Jaxon wouldnt eat anything but punkin pie made by the Amish ladies down here. We were very thankful to have friends that we can also call family. And for those of you that are far apart we love and miss you all terribly!

Wild boys!

Zane recieved an award for perfect attendence in the first quarter and a free bowling pass. Great job Zane we are so proud of you! The boys were romping around the house on the weekend once again pretending to be warriors of Star Wars. If you are wondering why Jaxon in on top of the refridgerator it is because daddy will drink two cups of coffee and they start getting wild on caffine!!!!

Its cleaning time!

Mike and the boys decided that it is "spring"cleaning time and broke out the hose, soap and sponges to clean their "prized" possessions!

Happy Halloween!

Cooler weather is finally here! The boys had a great Halloween. Mike and I took them to downtown Bradenton for a community Halloween festival. Zane and Jaxon went through a haunted house, gathered up more candy and got their little faces painted. It was a fun night for them and even though the leaves don't change here the boys seem to be every time you turn around! Hope that everyone had a great Halloween!

More pictures

Busy, busy, busy!

O.K. Mamaw here are some more fun pictures of the boys for you to see and giggle over. Zane had a fishing tournament on saturday and caught a toad fish. He recieved an award for participation and a fish pin. On monday I went to the boys school and ate lunch with them and did some volunteer work in Zanes class. They were making a solar system out of balloons and newspaper (paper maches). Other than that we are just waiting for a cool front to come through and give us a break.

My little Jack-a-doo

When Zane and Daddy are spending their time at Cub Scouts (male bonding), Mommy and Jaxon enjoy our quiet time together with bathtime, reading books and usually Jaxon making Mommy laugh. (thank you God for giving them a sense of humor or you would have never made it in this family!)

My little Cub Scout

There once was this little baby that was born to his mommy and daddy about 7 years ago. Look how he has grown into a handsome, honest, and generous boy. My little Cub Scout. We are so proud of you!
P.S. Someone please tell me how scary it is that he is a spitting image of his father! At least he has his mommys personality! HA!

Happy 1st birthday Brice!

Of course we always love to spend time with friends and family! It was a celebration for our cousin Brice's 1st birthday. There was cake, ice cream, food, drinks and of course more drinks (for the mommys and daddys)! The day was packed with swimming, watching cartoons, singing, opening presents and just enjoying our day together.

Football!

We all went to Tylers football game on saturday and boy were we sweating. Sure used to sitting in that good old air conditioner. The boys had a great time as you can see swinging on the bleachers....isnt that what they are for anyways?

Hot, hot, hot!!!

Of course it is the hottest time of year here in Florida. The only way to keep cool is to buy a redneck pool and jump right in....
