When Zane and Daddy are spending their time at Cub Scouts (male bonding), Mommy and Jaxon enjoy our quiet time together with bathtime, reading books and usually Jaxon making Mommy laugh. (thank you God for giving them a sense of humor or you would have never made it in this family!)

There once was this little baby that was born to his mommy and daddy about 7 years ago. Look how he has grown into a handsome, honest, and generous boy. My little Cub Scout. We are so proud of you!
P.S. Someone please tell me how scary it is that he is a spitting image of his father! At least he has his mommys personality! HA!

Happy 1st birthday Brice!

Of course we always love to spend time with friends and family! It was a celebration for our cousin Brice's 1st birthday. There was cake, ice cream, food, drinks and of course more drinks (for the mommys and daddys)! The day was packed with swimming, watching cartoons, singing, opening presents and just enjoying our day together.

Football!

We all went to Tylers football game on saturday and boy were we sweating. Sure used to sitting in that good old air conditioner. The boys had a great time as you can see swinging on the bleachers....isnt that what they are for anyways?

Hot, hot, hot!!!

Of course it is the hottest time of year here in Florida. The only way to keep cool is to buy a redneck pool and jump right in....

Been sick!

There has been a bug going around here and of course mom had to get it the best of it and be out of work for 2 days....Hope to post something exciting soon.

The boys were excited this morning, daddy and I ate breakfast at school with them, took them to their classes, in which Jaxon told me not to leave him. They started a brand new school this year. Good luck to my boys and have a great year.

Our summer of firsts.

This is the summer of firsts...We have had our first sleepovers, our first at swimming without our floaties, our first tooth that has came out, our first (kinda sorta) crush, our first at fishing, our first at bowling and to our first at making friends that we know will last a lifetime..

Pirates at sea!

We all had another great time with Charity and Vini. They have been so welcoming to our wild family every weekend. They are so fun to be around we cannot seem to get enough of them and their mayhem. Mike, Vini, Tyler, Zane, Jaxon and Macy were pirates at sea on Saturday while the mommies went antiquing and shopping and on sunday our adventure stopped at the shell factory with more pirates and games. The pictures seem to say it all....

Remodeling...

Well I busted my butt by separating the boys into their own rooms this weekend. This is the final outcome of both. Jaxons theme is vintage toys and Zanes theme is the beach/surfer. After all of that we relaxed at the beach on Sunday and went snorkeling.

We went to Port Charlotte this week for the 4th of July and visited with some old and new friends. The boys played ring toss, bullseye and even participated in a tug-o-war!

Top 10 summertime adventures of Zane and Jaxon

We have been having one fun summer. Things we have accomplished so far...
1. Got our hands dirty by making a herb garden. (cilantro, parsley, thyme-which Zane pronounces Timey-, basil and rosemary.
2. Travel to the beach every weekend to go snorkeling.
3. Zane has learned how to swim without any floating device and swims like a mermaid.
4. Jaxon has learned how to spell. His favorite word to spell is STOP and ABBIE.
5. Zane went fishing with Vini and Tyler and learned how to cast his pole into the water which is the first step to becoming a real fisherman.
6. Zane has learned to "heal" on his new Healeys that he got from his Mamaw on his 7th birthday.
7. The boys have mastered Lego Star Wars video game on their daddy's X Box.
8. Purchased Star Wars laser swords to fight with which becomes more of a problems since they are different colors and we find a reason to fight over any and everything at this age.
9. Bosco dives into the pool at Charity's house and they think that it is the craziest thing to watch him do.
10. Tanned sunkissed, freckle faced, blond haired boys that I absolutely adore!

We had a sugar filled day today. Lots of fun and kids gone wild! Thanks to all the sugar, ice cream cake, pizza, swimming and presents. Happy Birthday to my little boy!

We are off to the beach again but first we have to stop the ice cream truck for some treats.
