Growing up!

Apparently Zane has 2 girlfriends now...One that is his age and a 5th grader. I guess if you tell a girl that you love her she is now considered your girlfriend nowdays. The other day Jaxon said to me "Mommy, when the baby comes don't forget to play with me." (That made me sad=() Zane is so interested about how the baby looks, that everyday he comes home from school and asks me how big the baby is. So we get on the computer and look up how far long I am and we look at it together. He thinks that the baby looks like an alien..He sure is right!

Happy Valentines Day!

Zane and Jaxon had a "BIG" sugar-filled day at school. Jaxons class watched "Be my Valentine, Charlie Brown." Zanes class got some special puppy visitors. Daddy had to work today but left a special giant cookie with mommy, Zane and Jaxons initials on it. AWWW How sweet he is!

December fun!

The boys went to a pajama party at their school last week. The parents drop them off from 6-9 while they finish their Christmas shopping. I was done shopping so I really didnt know what to do with myself. I think I need a life! Anyways we went to church this past Sunday and the boys sat in the front and listened to the preacher talk about snowflakes and how God made each and everyone of us different like no two snowflakes are alike either. Good sermon! Sometimes more often than not we need to hear those things to nourish our lonely souls. After the sermon was over we all went back downstairs and had hotdogs, chips and soda. And you know who didnt eat a hotdog! (Jaxon) But as soon as we were done eating a surprise guest came and visited the children. Zane did have to ask Santa if he knows if we are sleeping and if he is making a list of things that we do that are good or bad and Santa of course replied with a ÿes." So now that we have confirmation, someone has been extra nice around here. On Christmas Eve they are going to have another service and there is supposed to be snow at church...well its for the children who have never seen it around here. Everyone should experience snow. Just not the yellow colored snow! Hope everyone has their shopping done. Still more to go around here. Stay warm!

Birthday party

We all went to Charitys house this weekend for Macys 5th birthday party. The boys tried to swim but the water was too cold. So they opted for jumping on the trampoline instead. Every year just seems to just fly by us in a flash. Where has the time gone to? The weeks are still hot and steamy as always and we are waiting for a break in this weather. As you can see the boys were shirtless and sweaty. Christmas is right around the corner. Hope to post something more adventerous for you all to read, but for now this is it. Keep safe and warm up there. You sure can have this humidity for all I care. But you have to admit that those sunsets are breathless....

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year we spent Thanksgiving with some friends while daddy was at the fire station with the guys. The kids made pilgrim and Indian costumes out of paper bags and of course Jaxon wouldnt eat anything but punkin pie made by the Amish ladies down here. We were very thankful to have friends that we can also call family. And for those of you that are far apart we love and miss you all terribly!
