A New Year

It is a new year and we are so thankful for our health, our home and our families. Although last week Eli had the flu so I took him to his pediatrician and after all the throwing up and running of the nose he had a ear infection in his left ear and a rash around his mouth which the doctor said that it was infected hair follicles. Never heard of such a thing thought that it was from the drooling and runny nose. Poor little guy. Now that he has had his round of antibiotics and cream for his face it was about to rear its ugly head torward me. It is always inevitable that the mother gets what the child has. So here I am battling the flu for the past 4 days...getting better slowly but surely. The boys are so thankful for all of the wonderful gifts they recieved at Christmas...we thank you all. (Didnt know that a DSi did all that..guess thats why they cost so much...pretty cool!) Jaxons birthday is now approaching us all at a high pace coming mid February and he is already showing me commercials of what he wants. Really? Do you really need more crap? I mean stuff? Wow it never ends does it? Jaxon has also trusted me with a little known fact that he has a girlfriend. "Mom, she thinks that I am cute and funny." Well I said I know that you are cute, but funny is really where you get the girls...I told him! Zane seems to be doing better in school and in his after school tutoring that we are expecting a good report card next time around. Zane also is one of the best little babysitters that a mom and dad could have around the house. Of course we dont leave them alone but just in the room he watches and plays very well with Eli.

Christmas time

Its Christmas time..but why are we all sweating at the Christmas parade? The kids had a nice time out at aunt Pams house watching the parade and eating lots of candy. Just wanted to post some pictures of our Christmas tree and mantle...somehow all of our ornaments keep drifting to the top of the tree since we have little hands that wont stay away from the ornaments. Thank heavens there are not glass ornaments this year!

Our little Colts fan

Eli loves football so much that he will sit through an entire game! Eli Brantley Quarterback! Now that has a ring to it!
